This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Water Landscape, Newton's Pendulum & a Lamp

Image 1: For this image i used a watery-textured Soft Body plain, i made the landscape using the Sculpt Surfaces Tool. The sky was made using envSky

Image 2&3: I used the Newton's Pendulum tutorial on the A|W site.

Image 4: I made the lamp on the first time i ever used Maya.

I think these are ok for somone using Maya PLE for only 2 months!

Yes you will, and I will give your details to AW!

What a stupid thing to say on a public board, this is not a warez board!

I have to delete your account. And let this ONCE again remind people not to do this AGAIN

A-haha. Burned by Kevin. Stupid warez people...

That water is very good. I have been trying to animate water here lately and have come up with some neat results. You should try experimenting with soft bodies and turbulance fields to get that water rippling!

Haha! Im thinking;
What if we all had webcams, and that we could make a gallery of some googy screen-shots of the "winners". Of course the pics in the gallery would be taken at a moment when the people are looking the most goofy user added image.

Just go look on the front page of the newspaper, they often choose some lame pictures of persones, according to if it is a scandal or some minor negative thing.
