Well a quick search in google turned up with a bunch of vids, and a couple of other sites that look like they could help.

Here: * Ok the hyperlink isn't working. Just type:
"Watch and learn digital painting" into Google.

Also try Gnomon. They have a bunch of great concept painting DVDs but you will have to pay for them.

Its good you have aspirations to get to this level. As Joopson says practice, which is always a key to achievement. But try Gnomon and check out the stuff by Dylan Cole there he does alot of Matte worrk on feature films and has a couple of dvds available, but I will point out it does take time and effort to achieve such results.

I used to have a couple of rad tutorials in my favorite, though they all got deleted when i formatted.

Try checking in CGSociety, i remember finding great stuff there somewhere...
