Kinda cool looking shader, the details on the body is off, but kinda looks stylised like a hero comic.

Kinda spiffy.

the arms look a bit long.. but as usual it could just be the POV.. although after looking at your disco monster.. you have a certain style to your modeling.. so you can just ignore me if their supposed to be like that

The arms may be a little long, your right on thatuser added image And I was going for a not real human look in every way, but that to me is the fun part about modeling you can doing whatever you wantuser added image

Oh and that shader is a skin shader that come with maya 6.

I still have the positive view of the style. but I did notice 2 things I don't even think would be a good idea in a cartoon. the feet are to small for the rest, and it looks like the hip bone its self is jumping out frum under the skin there at the side of the hips.
