weird blendshape problem

I have a head and separate surfaces for: left brow, right brow, left eyelid, right eyelid. They are all grouped together and called 'head'. These surfaces are also controlled by the skeleton and they move altogether when i move the main body control.

I duplicate 'head' to make a blendshape. However, when i apply the blendshape, the head surface moves with the body, but the eyebrows and eyelids get left behind!

I am completely braindead! :headbang:

Help pls
