Help With Paint Effects

Hey guys,

Please can someone give me a hand and tell me why my paint brush effects go so wonky. I make the polygonal model paintable, then apply featherExotic.mel from the Visor. When painting I get some very strange results when I release the mouse. Each and every stroke does the same thing.

See attached for more information.

you have to UV map a polygon object before you can apply paint or a texture.

no worries ..if you are not sure about UV mapping just hit F1 in Maya and open the help docs and type UV mapping in the search.

it will walk you through the process,as it looks like you will have to do a few projections judging by your model.
