Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Wireframe Animation is it possible

I want to be able to create an animation, and then view my entire animation in an AVI file, wireframe only. I want to see only the wireframe in an all white background and my little animation in wireframe through out the whole movie. I dont need any color or anything.
Plain 'ol wireframe
Is this possible.

Thanks

3 "playblast"
adjust playblast settings (resolution camera output...)

you can change your UI colors in the Window > Settings/Preferences > Colors section.

A movie in a flat image file, that doesnt work! You could screencap one frame as a jpeg, but not the playblast.

Another way to do this is to just use your uv output file as your color map, and then invert the colors and use it as your transparency map....This makes a cool effect, and the lines get smaller as the go farther back unlike a playblast.

Sure you can set your playblast to save it as a JPEG sequence.

Open your playblast option box, set viewer to fcheck. Make sure in your render global your output format is jpeg. And do playblast.

What maya will do is rendering your animation into jpeg sequence and open it using fcheck.

Best regards,

Maya for Flash

Very good misterdi,

Anybody have any good ideas about implementing maya into macromedia flash.

Making some movieclips to be used as buttons, etc.

Has anyone implemented it yet, if so write back and let me know how and what.. Thanks very much

Roger
