Modelling fighter jets

Hi all ive searched the net for tutorials on how to model an airplane and as yet have been unsucessful would anyone here know where i can find a tutorial to help me out, or have any tips on how to start the modelling process ie.. Using NURBS or POLYS. I want to model a fighter but dont know how to start any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance ive seen K Browns F18 V IMPRESSIVE fingers crossed you guys can help me out ?

Ive came to relize that if there isn't a tut in the world that sued your needs than just follow some other tuts with the techniek you want to use......if you are able to get some skills out of it than you will be doing a nice fighter...
