Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Vlad_jan/Feb_

i want to see if i can pull this off.
its not my concept, i just love it so much ill give it a try. [i think the artist's name is Mattias something... if anyone knows.. maybe they can link to his site. i dont remember it]
i might have to tweak the suit so it can actually "deform" when rigged. and ill probably change the design a bit, because the anatomy is a little off.

even if its copyrighted, i dont think im doing anything wrong here. :p
just modeling it. [im not taking credit for the concept]
i had some time to spare, and stopped being lazy and spent a little bit sketching the main face visuals.

nothing major, im just trying to stay motivated...user added image

Well, im afraid there might be something wrong with it, if it is copy-righted, or other wise Mike probably wont accept it. From what mike describes in rule #6, it looks like the company that Mike sends the work to wont accept it if it's copy-righted by someone else.

i dont think its the right person Arran.

the site i got this from was just a site with a bunch of pics in a row. it wasnt like this site, this organized.
and i dont see the same works i saw on the site i originally went to, as this site.
different artistic style.
so i think ill model it "based" [very]"loosely" on this concept. [and give proper credit, of course]

Can's see why not, especially if your going to change it, it is more of a concept rarther than a design that your going to stick.

Just to clear it up see what Mike says????

I see no issue with this. If the company comes back saying they won't do it (providing Vlad wins) I may need you to do some modification to it. Good luck!
