Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

hoefie

hi hoefie,

I got this photos already, but thank's anyway. Actually I'm using two of them right now, that is rearlanding gear and rear rotor. I have put on the tail made front landing gear the rotorcap as in the picture, I've got the rotors left to do, I think it will be a little bit tricky, but I will come up with something anyway.
I'm on part 25 now i the tut, and I wish you luck in the Apache project. It's a great tut.
I'll come with an update as soon as the rotor is ok.

update

Hi guys,
I was wrong about part 25 in my post above, actually I've come to the end of part 23.
So I show you a little gallery what I've achieved this far.
As I mentioned above, the mechanics of the rotor is pretty complicated to modell so I did it my way, not techically correct but at least put in some 'life' in the picture.
Well here we go.

apache above

This is the last picture for this update.

I can see the light in the end of the tunnel.

My last update for the Apache modeling tutorial will be
tut 29 1/2 -> 32 1/2 dealing with the interior of the cockpit and maybe I put on some more details, we'll see.
Until then take care

(Tut 32 1/2 -> 33 deals with cleaning up, setting up different layers that is, preparing for the texturing tutorial.)
