This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Saving a custom Shelf?

I am upgrading to Maya 2008 but I want to save a custom shelf that I have...can anyone help me with this.

Your shelf is already saved user added image.

To add it to the new version just go the the shelves and pick the option to load a shelf, this will then load and save it in your new version of Maya.

Sorry about being vague, but I am not in front of a copy of Maya and I am no sad enough (yet) to remember the menu commands :p
