Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Infinit

I am a new Maya user and am making a logo sequence for a company called Infinit-1. I am having serveral problems mainly lighting and background. All CC and help you have is asked for. Thanks.

Update: Prolly going to ditch the camera going inside and instead use this Playback

The video Infinit-1
The problem I have with the video (and renders in general) is I dont know how to change a background color. Also in the begining the camera is going threw the orange thing I dont know how to light the inside of that. Again thank you for any help.

I havn't wached the vid but i think that if you want to light up specific objects you can use light linking.
I havn't looked at it yet but you could probably find a tut on google.

Saw the vid...
The start was a bit confusing, was the camera going inside the orange thing? If so, you could parent a point light to the front of the camera so it lights up the path as it goes along.

Thanks for the suggestion, other people have also been confussed about the camera thing so I think I'll just go with the camera going on the side or something. Check my first post for the Playback

Alrighty, heres the final format of the logo which I rendered at 640 by 480 to get a quick look, but the organge line becomes rought at the top, and I am having crazy trouble smoothining it out. Although in maya it self it looks fine.
Here it is Logo
