This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

videomach: free alternative?

does anyone know of a free alternative to videomach?

Avid used to do a pared down version of their NLE called Avid Free DV. It's no longer available from the AVID site but if you Google it I'm sure you'll find something.

the one i got was just a trial, you have to but it after a month

It gives you a watermark at top of corner after a month.

oh, yeah I knew that. It's still usable though. I've been using mine forever
