Creative Share 3 - The Howl's Moving Castle

Hello everybody

I'm very pleased to introduce you one of my most ambitious project: www.thr3ad.org
THR3aD's project contains a series of events that aim for collaboration and competition among participants, as well the sharing of CG knowledge.

So far our main event has been Creative Share, which now is already at it's third edition with the tribute to the master Hayao Miyazaki, by reproducing in 3d the Howl's moving castle, the main characters, and create some stills with all of them.

The goal of Creative Share is to set up a production and welcome all the CG artists to take part to it, to help each other, share their knowledge and release a stunning project.
Over 20 CG artists worked together on Creative Share 3 and we're now at about the 75% of the production.

The softwares we're using are:
modeling and uv layout> maya and/or modo for the basecage and ZBrush for the details
rigging (a very simple rig to pose the characters)> maya
texturing> photoshop
shading. modo
rendering> modo
compositing/matte paint> photoshop

While we’re busy texturing and shading all the models I’m pleased to show you our castle and the kayak.
