Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

shader problem

I have downloaded a few shaders from highend 3d to texture parts of some of my models and unfortunately dont have much experience with shaders. When i import it into the hyper shade and assign one to a part of my model it turns the lights waaaay up or something and my renders get all blown out with white light. Is there any way to avoid this. Maybee I am not using teh shaders correctly or somethin. thx.

use falloff and decay on your lights and check their intensities.

I dont have any lights in the scene. I only used HDRI for the lighting.
