Thanks Guys

PBman: No they are round,I think its the view. I've intended for the harsher crease down the front. I going to add braces so still needs work...

nice progress jay, I do like his ears user added image

just going back a wee bit, so you create the displacement map of the head in zbrush and then attach it to the (low poly?) head in Maya?

looking good jay user added image

I think the back of his collar might ride a little higher on the neck if the hump comes out from above his shoulder blades.
A little more weight just under the front and around the belt might give him a little bit more weight too (to support that cool belly) although thats personal preference user added image

Hey Si

Yeah, definately the belly, though its gotta wait until I finish the braces then I'll tweak it for extra tension. One side of the braces will be down/off so it will be slightly lop sided

The collar I would say though would be stretched away from the because of the hump pulling the material back off the neck making the front of the collar pull more to the neck front, unless you could balance it between the belly and hump pulling both ways LOL.

Will update later

Cheers

Hey Jay,

Its looking cool, nice to see a non "perfect" body so to speak, modeled.

I reckon that when the braces get on any probs will be easily spotted and cleared up.

Hows the renders going on your feamle character? Cant wait to see em!!

Cheers

Hey Guys

Been busy with other stuff the last couple of days, Heres an update. Have opted to use the Bump shader material in Z to paint the intense details, the lips are a little over done, so I'll redo those towards the end.

Cheers

Looking cool.

The BumpViewer Material is real cool and damn powerful. What res maps are you working at? (prob the full 4096)

do you think one could grab a poser model or two to start with and work on Z-brush from there? Or a Zygote model?? the interface in Z-Brush is really 'now for something completely differant' but the application reminds me a lot of Maya artisian tools, well that's obvious but that's what i think...

it looks very cool...

wish i had the time to spend doing stuff like this, well in another 8 weeks i'll have that elusive uni degree and some time on my hands to actually do something meaningful.., like a trip to Vietnam, just joking.., maybe a model of Buhhda??

take it easy and life will be easy
