Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Can't see textures

Textures don't show up in Maya 8 when I press hotkey 6. They do show up when I'm rendering (on finished render) however on work surface, nothing. I thought I accidentally changed hotkey for displaying textures but it's still default (6).
Is there any other hotkey I migh have accidentaly pressed to hide textures or it's something else?
Please help because it's really hard to do texturing when you have to render to see if you put the texture right.

Work area (no textures) - textures are set to show with hokey 6

well make sure u didnt somehow disable hardware texturing, in the attribute editor of the material, scroll down to the "Hardware Texturing" section and make sure the textured channel isnt set to "none".
