This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Hard to see... is there a reason why it takes up a small part of the image?

A bit more detail, and a team opportunity

Okay here is a close up of my pig with a bit more detail I am assigning basic shaders to help distinguish.

Team opportunity: I suck at texturing so if anyone actually wants to try this teaming up idea I could use a texture artist and we could divi up some modeling on the flight machine I have a basic sketch but I am open for ideas as well. Just a thought let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks user added image

Piggy: Just about complete

Here is another update on the pig. I better call him good and actually start working on my flight machine as it wont do me much good to have a pilot without an aircraft.

anyways wish me luck I don't typically model vehicles.

I welcome any constructive crit please feel free to let me know what you think

Thanks user added image

Start of the Flying Car

Started working today on my flying car. I decided to use the chitty chitty bang bang car as a reference since I think it is so cool I am pleased with my progress so far.

Take a look at the car https://www.onlytoptens.com/wp-conten...bang-bang.jpeg

and here is my version so far

looking really good Jake.

I feel your pain when it comes to texture painting. I am not a painter and my finesse with a pen tab is about the same as a brain surgeon trying to wield a scalpel wearing 15 pound boxing gloves!

But hang in there!
