Vehicle : Eclipse

Here is a car I am working on while following along with (insert name here) Car Modeling here is my progress so far the silver areas have been converted to subpatches while the grey areas are still polys

not a huge fan of the eclipse spider, but it looks like your off to an ok start

ok heres an update back is done also just the windows need smoothing out then some ground effects and wheels and this is nearly done

make sure to bring the side skirts down inbetween the wheels. There should also be some material underneath the door, doors never go straight to the bottom of the body.

i know i have got to add the ground effects which is ther bit which comes between the door and floor

to convert polys into sub patch all you have to do is select the object then press "alt and tilda" tilda is the key next to the 1 key all you have to do from there is partail creases and full creases and it looks smooth

added some vinyls to side and picked a horrible looking colour its alright until you render but then the background reflection washes all the colour out
