Pymel crash upon import
I am trying to initialize Maya in the mayapy interpreter via this code:
import maya.standalone
>>> maya.standalone.initialize()
>>> import pymel.core as pmc
and it crashes. I have been on Stack and various other places and mostly people recommend turning off Auto-Load of plugs which I did
but that did not help. Any input will be appreciated.

When you turn off auto_load plugins, make sure to unload them, too. Don't be afraid to turn even the core ones off, Maya could act silly to start with but doesn't it do that anyways..
