Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

no more history

Somehow, Maya has stopped allowing me to have contruction histories on anything. Even if I make a brand new BUNBS or poly sphere, it still has no history.

I'm guessing something got turned off, but I cannot find anything if the preferences that would be of help. Anyone know anything about this?

I checked that. It has nothing to do with Undo, it's the history on the objects that is gone. For example... make a sphere and you should have the ability to change the subdivsions, but I don't. Very odd.

OK, I found in the docs that if I type

constructionHistory -tgl on;

into the command line everything goes back to normal. Don't know how it got turned off, but don't care. All is lovely again.

There's a scroll icon up in the status bar that might've been clicked accidently. It turns history on and off. Next to the rendering buttons.

I'd bet that's exactly what happened. Thanks. Mike. You are once again my idol.
