Ocean Waves...

im new to dynamics and i recently learned how to create an ocean in a scene, however the project im working on requires me to have a wave build up and crash back down on the ocean surface. im not trying to be a nuisance, i saw other posts commenting on similar problems but the tutorial links are either broken or the problem was never solved. any help would be great. plus book recommendations would be appreciated. thanks.
