This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

New Tutorial Series - Maya Fundamentals

In Modeling Fundamentals vol 1 and Modeling Fundamentals vol 2 we create the Lego bricks to build our car. Here we look at keeping good topology and what makes for a good model in Maya.

In the third tutorial we go over lighting, shading, and rendering fundamentals in Arnold. Here you'll learn about different light types, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before it's reassembled in Photoshop.
