This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I started it a while ago before I liked texturing, so I was reluctant to keep going with textures. Now Im a little wiser and armed with a photoshopping book I may get around to finishing the texture
Ive got classroom in a book. But Ive also seen a book made specifically for textures, though it assumes you know a bit about photoshop in the first place.
