This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

VCR

Hi,

here's a VCR I've been working on. Still got to work on the materials, the lighting in the scene was a quick job too since I'm just finished modeling the front (still for to model the main body, though it won't be seen much so won't be really detailed).

It's not been smoothed, like to see how they appear as is first.

Any comments welcome.

interesting project. looking good so far. Can't wait to see it with bump mapping and so force user added image

It looks good, nice amount of details there, the ground material looks kinda off at the moment tho, it makes it look to large. user added image

what's the size of the texture? maybe it needs to be a bigger resolution. Im just saying it's a little dull
