March Challenge - ereitz - Normal

Hey Guys - I have a contract job as a games animator! I'm totally stoked. Don't have lot's of time to model right now but I hope to finish this character because I really love modeling and I've been inspired to do something by the great stuff people are already showing in this competition - here is my character mario... sort of a big cat robot king of the cybourg jungle kind of guy... user added image

The model looks wicked so far and I hope you get the time to finish cause it's looking awsome (The head reminds me of Sebulba for some reason!)

Thanks a lot guys! Pure_Morning - The company is a new one called Inlight entertainment in Victoria BC Canada - they just opened in January and haven't got a website yet - the core of the company has been here for a few years as a subsiderary of Disney known as Disney Interactive but things change... user added image

They do games, interactive web stuff etc.

Funny about Sebulba - I didn't like episode one except for the podracing scenes and sebulba was great kind of nasty

Little time to model...

Here's the beginning of his foot... just one of four toes on hydralic arms... mechanical modeling is harder than I had thought it would be - tough to get my head around but I'm learning...

Thanks Basura3d!

Here's a little development on the foot. I'm doubtful I'll be able to finish the model unfortunately but if I don't it'll go into a w.i.p. where hopefully I'll bring it to the animation stage.

Hey guys! It's been a great competition - really inspired work. Wish I was able to finish but I've just had a couple hours here and and there. Anyway - this is my model partially finished.
