Maya 4.0 to 4.5 upgrade

So i have maya 4.0 installed, works perfecly. My question is when 4.5 is/comming out will there be an option to upgrade the previous version to the new version.

I never had this problem before because I usually reinstalled the whole program, but now I have a bunch of plugins installed and do not want to do it all over again.

i know someone who has beta 2, don't down it, it is stable, but a few glitches make it less fun to use than maya 4, wait for the full version :p
