Unsmoothing?

Is there any way to "unsmooth" an object after deleting its history?

..or do I have to redo the whole object?

from what I've gathered, if you delete history when it's smoothed, you're struck smooth.

believe me I know that feeling. I just delt with it being smoothed forever though. It was an character so I guess it should be smoothed anyway.

Hopefully it's nothing major for you though

Not really.

It's just part of a gun, which I could redo in 5 minutes lol..

..but still. user added image

I guess I should double check everything before deleting the history.

Well sometimes I leave the smooth, but then I end up deleting edges to save polys, which ends up messing the mesh up if I try to reset the smoothness.

If u saved every 2 mins into a different file like P1, p2, p3 etc... then u would have avioded the whole problem.

I do that occasionally, but I rarely do it with my weapons.
