Hello everybody,

I wanted to create a wet sea creature... but, it's not wet enough for me. Any ideas?

Greetings,

maybe you could create some extra geometry on the out side.
Example, you might water running down the side of him, so just create a a subd cube, or a poly cube with lots of faces, so you can easily shape it. Scale it together so it has little thinkness about the size of water.
Add a phong material to it, set the colour to white, and slide the transparency all the way up.
set the ambient colour to white
Then play with the specular shading options to get the right kinda reflection.

hope this helps

Thank you for your answer, I'll try that. I was just wondering if I could use some dynamic effects like particles, for example. Is it possible? or maybe too complicated?

you could try it. But it will be complicated.
If you want to use particles out side of maya, there is a great program called Particle Illusion. And it is stacks easy to use, and has great effects.
Just do a search for it in google and you will find it.
