Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Hey, cant wait to see this man! One thing i suggest though, is in your refrence.. (top one) try to get the nose, top of head, eyeballs, and chin lined up with those lines.. atm its kinda off.. you will have to probably take it off the background and then scale it along with moving it to get it to perfectly match up user added image.. just a suggestion. Ok, cya later.

A bit? A lot better! Heheh.. great job! One thing i wouldnt of done was what you did with the reigon poly select tool... you went around the head and now you can technically still have detail.. you wont have that exact shape of your head. I dont think it really matters though.. as you were pretty close user added image. Next time take the time and use the erasor... well, thats what i would do user added image.
