Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Im going to attempt to build :
Greek God.
ARTEMIS (AR-ti-misuser added image The virgin goddess of the hunt.

Im going to build her as a Hi-Tech Cyborg Futuristic Hunter.
Not sure if i can pull it off in one month but ill probably get her to a stage where i can enter her in a basic finished state and then i could continue to tweak her up after the compo.

I have done a rough drawing of how she might look from the shoulders up but itll all be subject to tweaking if i can better the shape.
Heres the lil concept.:

Oh and not sure if i could predict poly count but it certainly wont be lo poly...enough to keep it nice n smooth i guess.

I really like it. it is a perfect shape for a goddess of hunt. You can build a perfect body with that head(with an helmet) and you will have success! Time is nothing!

Ill keep working on the cyborg as i have some good ideas for it but for this challenge im going to build a Frankenstein creature based on the classic Boris Karloff monster, i havent many good reference pics except this one : https://www.screameagles.com/screenshots/frankie.jpg
plus the Frankenstein posters on most of the poster sites so if anyone knows of any good ref pics of him then that would be cool if you could let me know.

Ill stil be working on Artemis like i said so no worries there Sufiyaz and ill prob post the progress in the wip section but its gonna be a bit more time consuming than this challenge allows so hence the switch to Frankensteins monster.
Thanks Tim_T for the comments on Artemis user added image.

The shader is a chrome shader sourced at https://www.highend3d.com/maya/shaders/
You will probably want to play about with it a lil tho to get the look you want. The neck part is just a ball joint where the neck swivels at its base.
