Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

connection editor problem

I am trying to make a curve and when I rotate it the whole joint rotates also. It works for the left hand but not for the right.

I can' t really tell from the screencap what is wrong. But since you got it working on one arm ... it shouldn't be hard to trace the error by analising your steps and compair with the working arm. Check if the right objects are used for your input and output,... if the objects aren't conrolled by other objects (thus locked), etc ...

Else post a stripped version of your scene in .ma format.
