Halloween Schmalloween

Heya SM user added image

I found this old scene a while ago and decided to make something of it. The scene originally had only the one house without any trees or any objects. I have done abit of work to it allready, and decided to go for a short. The short is called "Halloween Schmalloween"

More about the story and characters soon. At the moment I am working on the scene. Here are a few preview pics of what the city, called "Smookton" is looking like thus far. user added image

Your trees are top notch. I LOVE monochrome!
Can't wait to see what you add to this.

Sweet, I remember this from before. As doodle says its very Tim Burton look forward to some characters in the scene too. Keep the Sepia effect on the whole shot as it really adds to the look but maybe give it more of a moonlite with long shadows and the outer edge of the image alot darker. Add some bump maps for stone too but no color maps.

Later

Jay

Jay!

Heya Jay, thanks for the compliment user added image I hope all is well on your side user added image I think I am going to keep the sepia effect. I am also thinking of adding in some really cartoony looking textures to some objects...and keeping the main scene this colour, but yeah, thanks again and will definately take your tips and suggestions and incorporate them.

See ya,

Mills

Awsome job! Looks a bit Tim Burton'ish. I would like to see it textured.
