thanks man!

UV mapping is becoming annoying again, roadkill doesn't want to be useable... i can't move UVs around in it... they just keep snapping back to the original position as soon as i click anywhere else or hit another key on the keyboard...

it would be nice if i knew how to use it... it colours the faces red green and blue depending on how stretched it is, quite a lot easier to see than using a grid
a few of the pieces have their uvs laid out so far. but not quite finished.

Have you picked a colour yet?
I'd avoid black or it might look too much like Giovani's suit. Maybe purple since that's the colour of psychic?

i dont know why they gave psychic the purple colour... i guess it's not normally associated with a colour so they needed a colour that isn't associated with an element...

i was thinking of going along the lines of mewtwo's original armour's colour, blue-grey and purple. But I think it needs a bright colour in there as well, not much of a bright colour but a bright colour (like the bahamut in the first post). I dont think white stands out on grey so I don't think i'd use that... besides, there'd be enough white showing on the visible organic parts.

I kept doing stupid things but alas, i have finally added some colour.

sadly my mouse batteries died... luckily for me i have a tablet and was able to continue painting.
I tried adding extra edge loops to the model so i could keep the sharp edges in zbrush, but it then started producing the most annoying textures that made absolutely no sense as to how it was made...

live and learn. or something like that

And then every so often zbrush would crash permanently until i restarted...

I personally like the magneto inspired helmet from several posts back.

I was hoping someone would say that. good thing I kept it because I might use it.

i had to google what that is. starmie and staryu can also learn lightning attacks. and phychic pokemon can rightfully learn lightning attacks too.
