Default object not rendering.

Hi ,
My friend has built a sub division model. With a standard lambert shader the character will not show up on a render. with a texture applied to it, it will sometimes show up on a render or sometimes not.

Any ideas?

You're going to need to give more information than that! is primary and normal visibility turned on for a start.

Are you using render/display layers?

There's any number of things it could be
