vector rendering?

is it possible to get it to NOT render the wireframe in triangles using vectore renderer in maya 5?

my model is all quads.


i click on the entire mesh options but it triangulates them also.

I have a feeling that there is an option whether or not to triangulate. Check the vector render globals and see what you can find in there, also the docs are ok for this topic so check them out.
