Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

How do I put two shaders on one object?

If I have a cylinder, and I want the bottom to be molten rock and then have that gradually transition to chrome at the top, how would I do that?

Thanks! I'll give all these suggestions a try. That "Glimpse of the Past" tutorial looks awesome.
