Good ad blocker...

Hey guys.

Sorry for the non-maya related post, but you lot are so great at helping people out, I thought that somebody might be able to help me out with a little problem.

I was getting a lot of pop ups on my computer, some of them being highly pornographic, and also some browser hijackers. I downloaded a beta version of some spyware off of the Windows website which has got my homepage back to normal. My problem is that I have a persitent sex website that keeps downloading onto my computer called '127021', and I've tried everything to get it to go away and it just keeps coming back. I'm at my wits end, I just want it off. I've virus scanned my pc and its clear, and I've also tried another spyware programe called 'search and destroy'.

I'm beginning to think that the Internet is one of the worst things that we've maybe ever invented!!!.....well, not really, but it sure can be annoying.

Anybody with any advice, please let us know.

Thanks in advance

annoying true.
i suggest you do 2 things, switch your web browser to firefox, and get a app like "adaware" and a firewall
to keep nasty little spywares out. u might also want to get an antivirus while you are at it.

Keep Active X off unless you absolutely need it to view a web site. If haven't already switched to Service pack 2 do so as it does fair job of blocking pop ups and gives you more control over port access.
