paint fx

Does anyone know if paint FX strokes can cast shadows on other paint fx strokes?

the pfx have simulated self-shadowing, but no real light blocking. You can convert the pfx to polygons for proper lighting.

I wish I could convert, but alas I am doing a moke effect that cannot be converted to polys.

The self shadowing also doesn't seem to work on clouds. They get darker evenly when using the back shadows and center shadows.
