This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
yea...the scratches and scars aroud his eyes are a great touch and the nose i done well too. There is something wrong with the eyes however, I can't quite put my finger on it...maybe the area of skin that holds the eyes in is too wide and the eyes need to show more out of that skin. Maybe the eyes are just too small or something... Anyone else notice that? Maybe it's just me...
I think there might be a little too much around the eyes. Put some more around the face like on his jaw line or on his cheeks. Don't do too much though. You should have more around his eyes than anywhere else but get rid of some of those. Just a little...
Not bad on the wrinkling though it doesnt look right to me.
The edges of the eyes also need to have corners like a humans eyes and not in circles as they currently are.
I think you just need some good reference pics that'll guide you around that area better. Here area a couple I found on google. The first is an old chap (over 30) and the second is younger.
