Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

no, just normal Maya render with GI_Joe Global Illumination Mel Script for lighting.

I'm planning on rigging him with facial expressions and redesigning my website, featuring him as a "mascot" so to speak. Have cartoon me introducing the site and "holding up" my thumbnails or something. lol

Small update. I'm still experimenting with shirt color. I've also adjusted the materials some to get a "softer" look and have adjusted the lighting. I've still got a slight 'halo' under the left forearm. user added image

kbrown - lol, yeah. I actually got the idea of the massive forearm/no wrists thing from a comic book artist I saw a long time ago. It stuck with me as looking unique and I decided to incorporate that into this one. user added image
