Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

assembling scenes

I have a scene that contains many different charcters that are rigged and binded on seperate maya files. is there an easy way of importing those models into my scene file? I tried copying the model from one maya window to the scene maya window but i got a whole bunch of funky movements when i did that.
thanks

go to each model seperately and select it and go file-> export selection and save it XX(modelname)export.mb or whatever
then in the new scene file go file import and import this way it doesnt import other stuff like image planes ect
