Complex UV Layout in Maya

compontent editor SOMEONE MUST KNOW THIS. pls pls hlp

I am trying to paint skin weights, but imdoing it manually in the component editor (i find it easier).

If you notice in the Hiearchy the (GREEN) circled al of my lip bones show.

Can anyone pls tell me how i can get it to show in the component editor? Its just show the group name, not each bone.

i need to weight lip verts to its appropriate bone but i dont know how.

Appreciate any advice.
