Default animating multiple polygons in one scene ?



i am trying to animate several polygons in the same scene....

for example (see attatched picture) ....

to let cube 1 and cube 2 detatch themselves in sequence from the main cube ,...such that i place the animation keys on the same timeline....

i hope you understand what im trying to say....

i was watchin` a tut ... i think changing the XYZ axes for the one cube will help ya ... but i can't remember how it was suppose to be done i will watch it again and will post ya soon
