Default Scene information /statistics panel available?

Hi,

is there a window that can be opened, that contains all of the information about the polygons in the scene? Like, a list telling you you have 100 4-sided polygons, 25 3-sided polygons etc.

If you've seen lightwave you'll know what I mean - it's really handy, and allows you to easily identify, find and select the geometry you want (which is what I'm trying to do, track down a non-4-sided polygon in my scene - but I can't see it).

thanks,

gubar.

go to Display/Heads up Display and check mark Poly Count.

However this will not show you N gons (polygons with more than 4 sides )

Hi,

I have that on already. It just gives you a polycount, I was wondering if you could actually get a much more detailed breakdown of the contents of the scene.

Cheers though,

gubar.
