Computer graphics and off-files

Hi everyone!

I'm doing a computer graphics project about 3d-motors, subdivisions, shading and stuff. I'm finished with the 3d -> 2d projection and the flatshading. Im going to start working on my own subdivision implementation later today. The models my applications should be working on is models parsed from an OFF-file.

My question: Is it possible to export maya-models to .off-files from maya? (I dont have maya installed myself)

As far as I aware and someone might know different ,it is not possible to import or export the .OFF format in Maya.
The most cross app friendly format that Maya exports is probably OBJ.
