This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

How to install that shade ...

and when i place the maya file in my Maya 8.5 it get's me an error
/ Warning: file: C:/Documents and Settings/COlD/Desktop/HDRI/mad_physicalSky_v1.1/mad_physicalSky_example.ma line 1157: Unrecognized node type 'mad_physicalSky'; preserving node information during this session. //
// File read in 0 second

And see on the pic below i must choose a enviorment shader "Mad_..." I don't have this shader to choose ...

Does it actually work with Maya as it would appear to be an XSI plugin.

apparently it only works with XSIuser added image

.. XSI ??? Why than the picture is for maya the tutorial that i have on my PC .pdf is for Maya ??? XSI ?? user added image

p.s Oh , I'm sorry you said XSI plug in ... what's this ? :blush:
