Default Medival Ages - chan_345

This will be my first comp, and since this is medival stuff, i decided to model some weapons from that era. the first is gonna be a sword.

Here's the handle, it's all i have so far. Now i just got to figure out how to make the gaurd exactly how i want it.

here is a pic of the guard, it's simple for now but i plan on adding a lot of detail to it later after i finish the basic model of the whole sword.

The main blade, made from a nurbs con ewith some cv tweaks.

Here's a pic of the finished model. If your wondering about the times in between posts, they're so short because i went on a modeling frenzy and forgot to take pics of the progress.

Here's the list of weapons i'm gonna model. If ya'll wanna see any other weapons lemme know.
1.Sword
2.Mace
3.Battleaxe
4.Sheild

But first i gotta put some detail on the sword, such as, textures/shaders, and color.

Possibly, but it wouldn't be a good looking char. I'm still working on my basic modeling skillz. I can't even get the nurbs head in the tuts that come with maya to look like a face. But i will consider it
