I like metal, grunge and... *gasp* ...classical! Not all of it, mostly the more exciting ones like 1812, Wellington's Victory (they fire a hundred real muskets and cannons!), Dune nut Sabbat (probably spelt the name wrong, but it is creepy) and Danse Macabre.

I'm open to all kinds of music as long as it sounds good (from the Marleys to System of a Down to Nas to Enya to Juanes) it doesn't matter as long its NOT that empty formulated pop crap you hear on the radio.

I'd have to go with rock and some lighter metal, though I'll listen to anything if it sounds well enough :attn:
Favorites: Nickelback, Linkin Park, RHCP, 3 Doors Down, Lifehouse, Nightwish, Eminem user added image and more...
I'd like to add something to this thread (with acid's permission of course):
Whats your Favorite album?
Whats your Favorite song?
Mine's Linkin Park - Meteora and Nickelback - Saving Me

When in doubt, delete history and freeze transformations.

ok, well since its already been mentioned...

i like anything that i can uh... 'resonate' with

so Linkin Park and Nickelback (not all from them but they have some really nice sounding stuff i rekon) and Metellica, or and... OMG CORRS (violens and flutes are cool so stop laughing)
all soothing stuff to me

i'll also note that i love the stuff from Nobou Uematsu, the composer for most of the Final Fantasy games
and other bits and pieces from places

i dont have a favourite album or a single favourite song

i have at least three theme songs
In the End (hope)
Numb (identity)
My December (solitude)wings

on a more negative note...

what i dont like are the retarded pop-love songs where the music doesn't match the lyrics
like that stupid aweful insulting 'lonely' song... i hate it so much
fast-ish love songs where the lyrics are mainly about how the singer is so desperate and can't live without someone or can't exist or do anything without someone also piss me off (partly because they are popular, but also because the singers always sound so weak and needy)
oh and popular songs where the artist clearly can't sing and yet the song is bizzarely popular (i can't name any cuz i dont usually stick around for the whole song or long enough to know the name)
and happy rap songs, i hate those too...i think...

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

Haha, get out! I've gotten weird looks for saying that. He makes good stuff, I loved the FFX soundtrack, its a shame what happened with the FFX2 soundtrack though, I liked that song Memory of Lightwaves, the rest of it wasn't to my liking at all :x

I have a great dislike of pop music and boy/girl bands too. I can't stand their shallow, pointless, horrendous lyrics.

This is an example of good lyrics in my opinion:

Nun liebe Kinder gebt fein acht
ich bin die Stimme aus dem Kissen
ich hab euch etwas mitgebracht
hab es aus meiner Brust gerissen

Now, dear children, pay attention
I am the voice from the pillow
I have brought you something
I ripped it from my chest

I can usually decipher what pop song lyrics mean (metaphorically) the instant I hear it (cause there aren't any metaphors in the first place) , but Mein Herz brennt still has me stumped. It must be becuase I can't read German...
