Q6600 intell qaud
4 gigs of ddr2 ram
8800GTS 512 video card @700mhz

I'm confused here, are you wanting opinions about video cables or the GFX card?

im not sure if its the TV or the GFX card, but what ever the case I own everything i just need to know why it looks like its not 1080p, thanks for respond user added image

Make sure your GFX card rez is set to HDTV specs of 1920 X 1080. Also make sure your using the right input on the back of your tv, and check your tv's on screen input menu.

does ur tv not have a computer input port
most ive seen come with a vga or dvi port

also when you connect it up does your computer reconise the tv
in display pref it should tell you make ect
ie Sony kx6575


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

I figured it out the other day, but i still dont know what i did different lol.. i just hooked it up and it went user added image
