Animation question(primary school question)

hey every 3d animator, i feel really shame to ask this question, but some time small question helps alot,

look at the image and the image tell you the story,

small cube from frame 1-7 turn to different shape,

how can you do that?

please first try on your maya before answer this question

Use a blend shape.

No need in blend shape. you can simply key vertices' location.

I'm pretty sure you can't just key vertices positions. The bestway to do this would be using a blendshape or a lattice could also do that quite easily.

You can also try selecting the vertices and clustering them. Then animate the cluster handles.

hi guys thanks so much for replay, I am trying to transformers the building into airplane, so alot of work around, I need to know which way is easiest , blend shape or cluster, I try both ways, works very well, animate the vertx is bit hard, but animate the blends hape or cluster is easy,

so let me try first and see what can I do.
